Our Services

We welcome you to come and join us at any of our services and other activities.

Sunday Meetings

"Memorial Meeting" or "Breaking of bread" at 11:00am

This is similar to the "Communion" of some churches and is based on the pattern Jesus gave to his disciples at the last supper where he instructed them to do this in "remembrance of me". A description of what to expect is outlined below.

Sunday Meetings

Sunday School at 09:30am

This is to help our young ones to learn more about God. We cater for all ages from reception right up to an adult class.

Wednesday Meetings

Bible study at 7:30pm

This is lead by one of our members and typically looks in more detail at a specific Bible topic, and often following a yearly theme. It is much more informal and with frequent  voluntary audience participation.

Youth events

Youth Group events and Youth camps

Youth Group activities are typically held on a Friday night once a month, and youth weekends take place during the year, where our young adults are encouraged to engage the principles they have been learning and put them to good use in the wider community.

What happens if I come to church on Sunday?

The service is typically about 1 hour long and we sing songs and hymns, we pray, we read the bible, we have some operational/admin announcements and member welfare updates, and we listen to a member speak to us about a bible topic they have researched.

While the whole congregation listens to the presentation, it is specifically for the Christadelphian members who have been baptised, where it helps to focus their minds on the bread and wine (representing the sacrifice of Jesus who gave his life for all) and it is only the baptised Christadelphian members that eat the bread and drink the wine.

Will I be singled out or asked to say anything??

Audience members are not expected to say anything and no one is put on the spot or made to feel uncomfortable. If you would like to join in the singing you are most welcome to do so.

What should I wear??

Whatever you are comfortable in. We are a diverse group of people. Most of us wear something similar to "Business casual".

Will you ask me for money?

No. During the service there is a voluntary collection to cover general expenses and charitable causes. If you would like to give something you can, but there is absolutely no expectation to do so.
